그게 다야? 그렇게 말할 수 밖에 없니?

     A : I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.

     B : You're sorry? Is that all you have to say?

     A : 네 감정을 상하게 해서 미안해.

     B : 미안하다고? 그게 다야?

 

It doesn't matter.  괜찮아. 상관 없어. 아무래도 좋아.

     A : What time do you want to meet today?

     B : It doesn't matter. Whenever is convenient for you, I'm free all day.

     A : 오늘 몇 시에 만날까?

     B : 아무래도 괜찮아. 너한테 좋은 시간으로 해. 난 오늘 하루 종일 약속이 없거든.

 

It makes no difference to me. 난 상관없어. 아무래도 좋아.

     A : Where would you like to go for dinner?

     B : It makes no difference to me. I'm not a picky eater.

     A : 지녁 식사하러 어디로 갈까?

     B : 아무래도 좋아. 난 먹는데 별로 까다롭지 않거든.

 

It never got off the ground. 시작도 하기 전에 끝났다.

     A : Didn't you say you were going to start a business with your friends?

     B : Oh, that? It really never got off the ground.

     A : 네 친구랑 같이 사업을 시작할거라고 하지 않았니?

     B : 아, 그 일? 시작도 못하고 포기했어. 

 

It won't hurt. 해서 나쁠 건 없지. 괜찮을거야.

     A : Have you decided on what to wear to your interview tomorrow?

     B : No, why? Do you think it's important?

     A : Well, it won't hurt if you wear something nice.

     A : 내일 면접 때 뭘 입고 갈지 정했니?

     B : 아니, 왜? 복장이 중요할까?

     A : 잘 입어서 나쁠 건 없지.

 

It's on me. 내가 살게.

     A : Let's go catch a movie tonight.

     B : Well, I'm a little tight on money these days.

     A : Don't worry, it's on me. I just got a raise at work.

     A : 오늘 저녁 영화 보러 가자. 

     B : 글쎄. 요즘 돈이 궁한 편인데.

     A : 걱정마. 내가 살게. 급여가 올랐거든. 

 

over my head. 이해할 수 없어. 잘 모르겠어.

     A : Hey Sam! Haven't you taken Professor Anderson's biology class already?

     B : Yeah, I took it last semester.

     A : Could you help me out? The material is way over my head.

     A : Sam,  너  Anderson교수님의 생물 수업 듣지 않았니?

     B : 응 지난 학기에 들었어.

     A : 나 좀 도와 줄래? 교재를 도저히 이해할 수 없어.
